About Game Mag Ratings
Game Mag Ratings gathers the scores that video game magazines gave to games when they came out: about 150,000 reviews of 50,000 games from 212 magazines and websites , on 117 platforms , for games released from 1969 to 2025. The scores reflect the opinions of their time rather than today's perspectives.
How to use it
Filter by review source (grouped by country), platform, developer, publisher, genre, release date, game title, and average or median score.
Click rows in the tables, or bars and points in the charts, to add them to the selection; click again to remove them. Choices add up.
Undo, redo or reset with the buttons at the top (Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y).
The page address keeps your filters and selections: use Share link to send your view to someone.
Hover over a game (tap it on a phone) to see each magazine's score, issue and date. Game names link to their page on uvlist.net.
